Community Service
If you know Lou-Evil, then you know how we feel about supporting our local and national communities. Whether we organize or participate, LEP averages 24-26 Community Service / Charity Events per calendar year. The Club has been featured on in magazines and local news stations numerous times, and was presented with a National Philanthropy Award from the non-profit assistance organization, “Motorcyclist Who Care”.
LEP also has 1 Member certified and 1 in training for their “Court Appointed Special Advocate” (CASA) certification. (CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to watch over and advocate for abused and neglected children, to make sure they don’t get lost in the overburdened legal and social service system or languish in an inappropriate group or foster homes.”)
With a number of military vets in its ranks, LEP also proudly supports and participates with the "Patriot Guard Riders". (The PGR is an organization of motorcyclist who attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family to show sincere respect for our nations fallen heroes, their families and communities, and to shield the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.)
